Don’t get too excited, kids. But I just signed up to post everyday in April. I can hardly believe it either.

And by the way, I’m giving you one last shot to redeem yourself with one of my assignments. You have until April 12th (which happens to be Easter Sunday) to post your Spring-Like Project (craft, poem, recipe, whatever strikes your fancy) to your blog. Make sure to leave a comment here to let me know to check it out. Whichever project I deem most awesome will win a prize. I can’t guarantee the level of awesomeness of the prize – seeings as I can’t cut you a million dollar check – but I will come up with something special for the winner, probably by looking through their blog for ideas. ;)

Anyone know of any good weekly meme’s I can add to my lineup? I’ve been looking but google has pretty much yielded less than awesome results.

A lot of those things I would never want to do anyway! I’m a wussy. A few I’ve kinda done, but not really. Like, we had an old pair of ski’s when I was a kid, and I would try to stand on them and slide down the hill. But that was not skiing. Nope. I never made it down the hill still standing anyway. It was kind of fun to SIT on a ski and slide down though, just FYI. Try that sometime! A couple things that would be on my bucket list if I were to make such a thing would be to ride in a gondola, and to walk on a black sand beach. Those two things, and to ride in a hot air balloon (which scares the hell out of me), are things I’ve always wanted to do. Well, since I knew they existed. You know.

I tag YOU (*points*) to do this also. And comment me so I know to come look for it.

I punched Jeff in the face last night. It was kind of AWESOME. And completely an accident. I know you don’t believe me, but it’s true. Even he believes me since I punched him with my left hand (which is basically useless save for typing on the left side of the keyboard), and managed to make contact between the side of my little pinky finger and his brow bone. If I was trying to hit his face I definitely would have been aiming somewhere softer, like maybe a cheek.

His face is unharmed, and my little pinky merely bruised it’s pathetic ego. =)

I tried with all my might to make sure I didn’t actually hurt him (since I somehow managed to hit him pretty hard!) before I cracked up, but it just wasn’t working. It went more like “HAAAAAAAAA! AAAaare you oh-oh-snort-kay?!!” Seriously. It was hilarious. I couldn’t breathe, and I had tears rolling down my face for about five full minutes. Luckily he was laughing too.

I’m sure you’re totally missing the humor, but imagine that for the past few weeks we’ve been threatening to punch eachother in the face by simply saying “In. The. Face.” on a regular basis. Here’s a typical conversation:

Me: So what time can I wake you up?
Jeff: 7:00
Me: Ok, I’ll wake you up at 5:00.
Jeff: I said 7.
Me: Right, 5. Like I said.
Jeff: 7:00
Me: 5:30
Jeff: 6:45
Me: 5:00
Jeff: In. The. Face.

And then… I PUNCHED HIM IN THE FACE.
Now you understand.
