The Baking is Done!

Today I made my chocolate chip and peanut butter blossom cookies. Which means… I’m done baking! Because this year I decided I was only doing those and the sugar cookies, that’s plenty. I over did it last year I think, and haven’t been able to get into baking this year probably because of that. I did attempt a chocolate coated peanut butter concoction… but it failed. It’s still edible and Jeff and I will eat them – but they look nothing like they are supposed to.

And now that all my cookie chores are finished I’m making myself a chicken patty for dinner. I just realized that I haven’t eaten anything since my bowl of frosted flakes this morning (and a couple cookies, of course – you HAVE to sample to make sure everything turned out okay) – and it’s almost 8:30 at night. Oops! No wonder my tummy feels a little icky! I bet real food will fix it, don’t you worry about me.

Then I’ll have to help Jeff shovel the driveway. Boo! I made cookies, I should get out of shoveling I say! Oh well, at least with the both of us it will be a little easier.
