Ugh! and Ohhh! Movies

UGH!
Last night we finally watched The Happening… and I was right. Not pleased. How does that Shyamalamatard keep getting jobs? And actors? Seriously? Who is actually buying into the hype? I know no one that has actually liked any of this last… what? Three films, at least. It’s very highly annoying.

Just now we watched Wanted. A bit over the top… but amusing. I sat through the whole thing and was interested enough in what was going to happen next to keep watching. And, ha! I was all like “Whoa! It’s that Aephraim kid from that show on the WB! Where they moved to like Alaska or whatever? And the dad was a doctor, and the mom died, and he played piano, and – HEY! THAT’S THE OTHER KID FROM THE SHOW!!! His best friend?!” But… I was wrong. (And I was talking about Everwood. Remember that show?) The guy in the movie Wanted is James McAvoy. Aephraim from Everwood is Gregory Smith. You see the resemblence, right? And it was apparently just coincidence that Bright from Everwood played Barry in Wanted. (He’s Chris Pratt.)
