Dinner and a Show

I thought I’d confuse everyone who reads this (Hi Denise!) and post bright and early-ish today. Though looking out my window it doesn’t seem so bright. What’s up with that expression anyway?

Last night went pretty well. My parents are funny people, and so’s my step-brother.  When Jeff and I go anywhere for dinner we don’t generally start conversations with people… like the waitress or what not. Hell, we barely talk to eachother! :lmao:  But those crazy kids were just a-jabbering away the whole time.  I had me a grilled chicken sandwich, and it was pretty delicious. I’m kind of excited now, because this place is actually really, REALLY close to home for us. Like, if we had the initiative to walk uphill? We could walk there. And yet last night was the first time I’d ever been. It’s been open for almost two years now I think. We don’t get out much.

Shrek the Halls was pretty awesome last night. Did anyone else get to see it? I watched it AND taped it. (Yes, actually taped it. Like… with a VCR? Remember those?) I look forward to it becoming just like the Grinch, and being able to expect it every year. That Puss in Boots guy just cracks me up!

And finally… I went to my doctor’s appointment this morning and they poked me in both arms! That was mean of them, huh? Apparently the first one didn’t want to cooperate right so I had the pleasure of a double poke. But I’m still alive, and that makes it all better.
