At Home Shopping

I’m going to try to stop talking just about having been sick now. Maybe tomorrow I will mention having my staples come out, but I’m going to try to talk about other things too. Like how I had totally planned on shopping this weekend. But now I can’t really, or well not as comfortably, and so I did a little online shopping instead.

Technically I started Christmas shopping at the dollar general a week ago, but it was one tiny little thing for $7, so I don’t think it counts as really starting. Today though I went to one of my favorite Christmas time shopping sites! The Lakeside Collection. And I think I actually knocked a bunch of people off my shopping list, too. Sweet! And I of course ordered a couple must have things for us. It was necessary, seriously. They had the cutest penguin flannel sheet set, I needed it. And a black lab picture frame. These are things I absolutely require.

See, now wasn’t that a much better post than if I had updated on my boring gallbladder issues? I mean all I really could have said was “Today I ate a turkey sandwich. And then I pooped for the first time since losing a part of my digestive system. I survived both experiences, and expect to live to see another day.”
